Om arrangementet
This course is for you who want to deepen your yoga practice or take up your previous practice. We will work to have good routines and establish good self-practice. In a hectic everyday life, it can be difficult to be disciplined and to stand in a yoga practice alone. It is through regular practice that the major changes and health benefits will come.
It is therefore very useful to learn the series well and work out your own practice at home, in addition to attending classes with an instructor. It can feel as if the time is not enough, that you already have a packed everyday life with work, family and duties. But that is precisely why it is so important to find small loopholes for your own time and care for your own body and soul. So in this course we will together support and help each other to find ways to bring in a regular practice.
Ps! Self-practice can also be done together with others, both physically in the same room or via online meeting rooms. Sometimes it's nice to have a little help from others.
A practice at home does not necessarily have to be to do the whole series. There may be, for example, sun salutations and some concluding exercises. Or maybe one day just breathing exercises.
Ashtanga Yoga is more than just the yoga postures and movements (asanas), this is also something we will look at a little more in this course.
A regular Ashtanga practice provides health benefits on many levels; it strengthens the body from the outside to the inside, strengthens us physically, provides better mental focus and concentration and has a balancing and stress-relieving effect, and increases metabolism.
The practice also strengthens our physiological balance such as the immune system, hormone balance and the nervous system.
In addition to this course, you can also participate in the other courses that run in parallel with this the same 8 weeks - Ashtanga Yoga beginner course and Calm yoga course.
There will also be set up "morning yoga" on zoom once a week, where the purpose is to help get into a routine of starting the day with a little practice before work or other chores. Here will be sun salutations, the standing series and some concluding positions.
Everything is included in the price for one course :-)
You can participate in this course both physically in the barn, or via zoom. (You can also change from time to time according to what suits you best!) We have had good experience with this combination in our yoga classes throughout the corona period.
If you want to participate only in the barn or combine to participate in the barn and online, you sign up for this course.
If you ONLY want to participate in zoom, sign up for the course called Online Ashtanga Yoga course for the experienced!
